I was just wondering what was the first thing you gave LO to eat when you starts solids. I just watched a video of me giving DS1 some really watery baby rice as his first food :haha: With DS2 I don't think I am going to make as much puréed veg etc (I spent hours doing it for DS1,and often he didn't eat it ) and going to try and do a lot more finger foods etc but not sure if I will start out with some baby rice etc like DS1 or just go for some toast or banana or something.

My Los first food was a piece of carrot and a piece of parsnip.

Bellas first food was porridge.

Steamed squash, steamed green beans, toast with homemade hummus, figs. We had a picnic and he just got stuck in!

nothing for ds2 yet but ds1 was banana (my banana the little theif!) :haha:

Toast with strawberry puree

Rio first had porridge. His first proper food was carrot and parsnip

A strip of raw red pepper! He was sitting up well at 5 months at a family get together, I put a slice of pepper on his tray from the salad, more to play with than anything, and he tucked right in!

Blueberries in one of those little mesh things. She totally lost her mind!

My dd1 sucked on an Apple but first food that got into mouth was broccoli.

We made her a Sunday lunch for her first meal, so she had mash and then roasted carrot and parsnip sticks with rosemary and garlic. She loved the roasted parsnip!

Banana was the first thing we offered, but I think the first thing that actually got eaten was tomato. Still her favourite now.
