What was your AMH level?

Mine was 64 today and was wondering what everyone elses was?

Mine was 35 which they said was very high (due to age and pcos). Maybe we have different systems of measurement because 64 seems so high.

mine was called very high at 57 i have borderline pcos

Mine was 12.5 which i was told was normal for my age - apparently different clinics measure them differently as to countries?!?

Yep different clinics measure differently i was given these as measurments below at my clinic;

0.0 - 2.2 undetectable
2.2 - 15.7 low
15.8 - 28.5 Satsifactory
28.6 - 48 optimum

Not sure what these measurments are but my clinic sent them with my results and i have pcos and i think mine was 37..I know a lot of clinics measure differently so its best to check what measurment there using as like someone mentioned lots us different measurments.

Ahh so that explains that if you have PCOS and the number is higher, you are at a greater risk of OHSS?? Is that right? (i'm learning something new!!)

im pretty sure thats right rachelle thats why they put me on a really low dose of stimms x

Yep with pcos you have lots of follicles so you should only need a small dosage to kick start the follicles into producing mature eggs.. I was on a low dosage but all my follicles were growing i had over 40plus growing at different rates..

Around 20plus were good size enough for egg collection.. They just dont want the others growing otherwise you would be over stimming as 40plus eggs the same size for EC would be quite painful..

I had mild ohss but i made sure i drank so much water and my clinic also gave me some tablets to help with OHSS symptons thats help.

Me too, I have mild PCOS & my amh is 56. I'm at risk of OHSS too!!!

i have PCOS and a low AMH(4.5) ,so its not a done deal that PCOS equals high AMH

PCOS can increase AHM results but DOESNT always a lot of other factors are involved.. I mean there looking at egg reserve so suppose it goes off age, how many eggs you have and other factors..
