What words are you sick of hearing over and over and over and over?

Daisy says 'What's this?' a billion times a day, even about things that she already knows what it is! We also hear 'I stuck' or 'its stuck' loads and loads as she says it if she can't get something she wants or where she wants immediately!

'Oh dear' and 2,3,4,5,6,8,9 ent (10) are pretty constant. He has to count everything he walks past and that can drive my patience sometimes especially if i'm trying to rush up to the bathroom and he is trying to count the circles on the pattern of the carpet of each step on the way up!

We have the counting thing too! She has to count the stairs going up and down every time and a story takes forever as she counts how many flowers/bees/whatever on all the pages. She wants to count literally everything!

Megan's favorite words right now are stuck and no. She says tons of words and is starting to form whole phrases or sentences but when something is stuck or she thinks she is stuck it's just "stuck" in a whiny voice over and over til she figures it out or she gets unstuck. No is just a constant thing right now. This word Is the one I am Sooo sick of! Dh and I barely say it. And she says no when she means yes too... So i always have to rephrase or ask her ."yes?"

It's funny how many of them like the word 'stuck'. Everything is stuck with Thomas too. His favourite words at the moment are 'stuck', 'hide', 'Adoo' (his name for Elmo), 'more', and 'no'. He shouts 'hide' all day long even when he's only vaguely hidden behind the washing line or similar, LOL. Also 'Adoo stuck', 'Adoo hide', etc.

ETA I forgot about 'uh oh'. That's another firm favourite!

Ha ha good thread.
Eva's favourite is ATM is: hot, door, have, that there. Oh and she seems to be nodding her head saying yes to everything i ask lol nutta! lol!

To be honest, I love all of Kelana's words. She is my miracle baby, and I lost four babies before her, and took four long painful years to have her...and I just can't get enough of her.

Madi says ' mummy look. Mummy look ' about a zillion times a day atm. 'Mummy look, i show you!' She has decided she quite likes praise when she does something good so she feels the need to show me everything.

Los favourite word at the minute is no but its not just that he's no all the time, hes picked up a strange accent from somewere and its the accent thats bugging me because its only when he says no that hes got the accent

Ta ta ta ta ta ta ta ta ta ta ta mama mama ta ta ta

I've managed to teach her 'ta' wrong so she uses it to say please instead of thanks. So she reaches out for things she wants and says ta ta ta over again. Bless her!!

Daddy.
he calls everyone daddy (except my dad, who he calls Ganat (grandad)).
He even calls ME daddy.
If daddy is at work he says it as a question 'Daddy?'
Drives me up the wall - whats wrong with Mummy???

He also constantly says tickle (or ickle).
He just walks around the house going Ickle, ickle, ickle, ickle, ickle, ickle, ickle. Daddy? Daddy. DADDY. daddy? Ickle, ickle, ickle, ickle ickle.

Vaccum and mower..

Seriously drives me up the freakin wall!

Finley's Favourite word is - No!!
Our day consists of this

Me: Finley shall we change your bum
Finley: No

Me: Finley come & get dressed please
F: No

Me: Finley shall we go & see nana?
F: No

Me: Do you want cheerios or shreddies for lunch?
F: No

:dohh:
We dont get much done x

Gone and Bang are his favourites! He says those all day!!

"oh no" said in a really cockney voice so its like "aawww naaaaooo"

I dont know where she has picked this accent up from (i'm from east london but nobody can ever tell with my accent)

LO doesn't have much of a vocabulary yet but we get "uh-oh" a lot when she falls over or drops something, "see-saw" is the favourite (I only sang the nursery rhyme once to her and now we get this all the time, completely randomely) and, bizarrely, "daddy" in a strong Essex accent - DH is Welsh, as are all the nursery staff, and I'm Scottish!

Currently the "in" words are......

Dink - drink
Mama - mummy
Dada - daddy
Whassat - what's that?
Whaaa - what?
Baby
Boobie
Bird

Dacshund, Except prounounced "dassssshhunnnnnd"

We call my sisters sausage dog "dacshund" instead of his actual name (Marley) And shes cottoned on....Except all dogs are now called this

"More more?" when he wants another/more of something. And "pleeeeeeease!!!" when I either don't know what it is he's asking for, or have already said no. He's a cutie but my word do I get sick of the repetition
