I have just been accepted on a breastfeeding peer supporter course and was wondering, what is the main thing you'd like from a peer supporter?

1) Listening to you rant even if can't help
2) Practical skills (watching full feeds and suggesting techniques/problems based on observation)

Or something else?

Definitely practical advice. My friends and I rant to each other about various issues to get them off our chests, but of look to a peer supporter for proper advice.
