What would you do?

My friend is getting married on the 16th October, she has asked me and 2 friends to be bridesmaids.

My friend said that she wants a red and white/ivory theme like mine.

I just phoned her to tell ehr about the new asda wedding collection and she said;

'XXXX has choose a pink dress she likes in the BHS wedding collection coz its halterneck and she can't wear strapless dresses'

'I thought you wanted a red and white theme not pink and white?'

'I do but you know how fussy she is and she can't wear strapless dresses coz of her boobs being so big.'

'Her boobs are the same size as mine and I manage to wear strapless dress. She needs a proper strapless bra thats all.'

'Yeah but you know how fussy she is.'

'Well do you want pink for your wedding?'

'Not really ... but I'm not fussed.'

Now I am sorry but would you tell this 'chief bridesmaid' to get stuffed coz I would! There is no way I would let my bridesmaid tell me what colour to have for my wedding just coz the dress didn't look right on her!

But to be honest I totally expected it from her because she is a control freak and always has to be in charge

I wouldnt let anyone choose anything for my wedding apart from me, I knew what I wanted and I went for it, but what I did do was take my bridemaids and Cheif bridemaids out and got them to try on lots of dresses in the colour I wanted to see which suited both of them, they where both so different, one was tall and very tan and the other was small and pale white so I had to make sure the style and colour of dress suited them both. xx

I wouldn't stand for that, it's not fair, you only get to plan your wedding once (hopefully) and should have it how ever you want it

oh my, no way would I let anyone but me and OH (and even then his opinion doesnt count for much. lol) decide on anything for my wedding!
I dont get how she "cant" wear strapless...I suspect it's more a case of she doesnt "want" to wear strapless!!

I would tell her she's not invited anymore LOL well maybe not but it's so wrong of her to decide the colour. why cant she get a red dress with straps they dont have to be the same design just get the colour to match.

I cant ware strapless, my boobs end up neer my knees even with a strapless bra on.
