Hi Ladies, Im wondering if anybody else has been through this, This is my first month TTC, my period was due 4 days ago, i have been having the odd belly ache, but everytime i go to the toilet, there is nothing there, my boobies arent sore, just a bit sensitive, i have been having wet cm, i have tested and BFN everytime, anyone help?

BC stands for Birth Control... can take a while for menstrual cycles to settle after you come off some forms of contraception.

My first month was very screwy just off Birth Control...could cause lots of confusing side effects. Been off it since june, and possibly still having them...if you recently came off, that could be it!

Hi Jennie,

I'm afraid I can't be of any help but I'm in a similiar situation. AF was due 2 days ago and no sign of it, but also getting BFNs. I have always been very regular and have never been on BC.

Some things that can cause af to be late apart from pregnancy include stress, some meds, being overweight/underweight.

From the research I've done there are plenty of women who have been regular and then suddenly had a late period for no apparent reason and quite a few who turned out to be pregnant but didn't get a BFP til they were between 3 days and several weeks late.

I tested BFN at 4 weeks with my son (at home and at the doctor's office)! Some women have lower levels of the hormone that would show BFP. Unlike you, I aways had irregular periods.

I was in the same boat just last week. My AF was very reg..around the time i was supposed to start, i had nausea spells and the worst indegestion ever, and was 4 days late, no symptoms like usual..So i woke up SAT morning and took a test, BFN...decided i'd wait a few days and test again. Well, AF started that very night. I'd wait just a few more days and test again if AF didn't show. You could also call a dr and have him/her test you...can't hurt. GL to you!
