Breakfast : bacon / sausage bap

Starter : prawn cocktail / melon & raspberry coulis
Main : Turkey, honey roast ham ( my fab neighbour has his own bees and there rated 2nd best in uk for honey !!!) yum !! Pigs in blankets , parsnips , sprouts , mixed veg ,
Stuffing , roast pots , yorkshires.
Pudding : chocolate fudge cake / mini Xmas pud

We probably won't eat on the night if we do it will just be a

breakfast - bacon sarnies and as the littlest ones just pull the bacon out, christmas tree shaped crumpets with a side of bacon for them lol

Dinner - 5 bird roast, 4 meat roast, roast potatoes, roast parsnips, sprouts, mashed carrot and swede,stuffing, yorkshire puddings, 2 kinds of gravy, bread sauce, pigs in blankets, mixed veg
Dessert - Christmas Pudding with brandy sauce for DH, and with custard for ds1. Chocolate Orange Profiterol Cheesecake for the rest of us.

Then later if anyone wants them theres cheeses and pate, but they boys will probably fill up on sweets lol

Mmmm reading through this thread has made me sooo hungry!

This is our first year staying at home for xmas...

Breakfast - something simple, probably toast and picking at chocolates

Dinner - turkey, pork, slow cooked beef, mash, roasties, carrots peas, sweetcorn,leeks,broccoli,cauliflower, swede,yorkshire puds, pigs in blankets

Deserts - got a double choc gateau, cheesecake and apple crumble so whatever they want..one or all 3

Breakfast: Bacon, croissants, eggs, mimosas and most likely some chocolate.

Lunch (Christmas Dinner): Honey glazed ham, roasted potatoes, squash, broccoli, rolls, stuffing, mushroom gravy, wine.

Dessert: Bailey's cheesecake, pecan pie, cookies

Dinner/Later in the evening: Just snacks as we're hungry or leftovers


I'm also doing a Yule dinner this Sunday which will be: Leg of lamb, rice pilaf, creamed spinach, rolls and maybe some baklava for dessert if I have the time to make it.

Lunch - turkey, goose fat roast potatoes, stuffing, sausages in bacon, bacon from top of turkey, carrots, broccoli and Yorkshire puddings.
Pudding - homemade refrigerator cake
Tea - party tea round my mums
Snacks - Xmas chocolates
