I get that the pedigree ones are more expensive but the moggie type ones vary loads too. If I wanted a moggie type cat, what's a 'normal' price to pay?

What about a blue tabby? Should that be more money because it's blue? More than say a ginger tabby?

The mind boggles :rofl:
 
Not sure where you are but here in the US can get them for free everywhere or for very very cheap in shelters.
 
I agree, there are free cats everywhere!! Or if you want one that's already vaccinated and possibly spayed/neutered then you could go to a shelter or rescue group and pay a minimal fee. In the US I'd say $45-$65 adoption fee would be normal.
 
Sadly most rescue centres wouldn't consider me as my tenancy says no pets (although I do have them:winkwink:)
