Need some help with night nappies. We are really getting into the swing of cloth and now feel ready to use it full time inc. nights.

We currently only have one nappy which we use for nights and that is an issy bear with 2 inserts and a bamboo booster. It works well, I am looking for other ideas. Preferably not costing the earth....

So what do you ladies use on ur LOs for night?

When we used night nappies, our favourite was a WeeNotions Night Notion with a wool soaker on top :)

Thanks,

With the WNNN, what would you say is the best fabric for the outer? Does it matter?

I don't really know that it matters a whole lot, but I could be wrong. Ours were bamboo velour outer, blue cuddlesoft inner. I wasn't fussed about embroidery or anything on them (as a soaker was going on top) so I just got what was in stock in the right size  Never had an issue with them in terms of leaks or anything.

We use WNNNs too. I'd say that the velour outers are best (bamboo or cotton) as they are stretchy so give a more flexible fit. They are also absorbent so add an extra bit of absorbency to the nappy. Minkee or cuddlesoft outers don't absorb so are slightly less absorbent, but they will feel dryer on the outside when you take them off - some people don't like touching a wet nappy but I prefer superior absorbency. Cotton outers are absorbent but not as absorbent as velours. For the inners, I like minkee as it is stay dry but doesn't bobble like fleece.

Thanks ladies.

I thought that'd be the case with the minkee or cuddlesoft. V. Helpful. Thanks again.
