I think my little girl is turning

She has been breech for a loooooong time and today i felt her kick to the bottom right of my tummy (feet) wriggle by my belly button (torso) and punch up and left of my belly button (head/hands)

So im HOPING she is just taking her sweet old time to turn but if she ends up transverse is that worse than being breech?

i know ive got ages but i just want her to be head down
xx

you dont want her tranverse closer to labour but at the moment transverse can just be more uncomfortable for you its not a problem at this stage and transverse babys are normally way easier to turn

Yeah tranverse seem easier to turn then full breech

I think she is going tranverse tho ooowwww im so not comfy!
xx

It's EXCEEDINGLY rare for a baby to stay transverse when you go into labour so that's not likely to happen. Hopefully bubs is just turning. I should say, however, that often when it 'feels' as though my baby is transverse their head is still down- and just their body is wrapped across.

"Transverse lie occurs in only 1 out of 2,500 births."

My baby made a very gentle turn from transverse to head down at about 30 weeks. Transverse is very un-comfy, I found.

ouch ouch ouch for transverse - Fynn was transverse for ages but he is now head down. He killed my hip so hope your LO has a prompt dash head down xxxx

Mine was head down till 28 weeks and then she turned, although i didint feel her do it. I since have felt kicks at the top again. My placenta is across the top so not felt much. So i though woohoo, but yesterday i was told she is still breech. GRRR lol

Transverse is not fun. Dylan was transeverse for a long time and then he went breech before finally going head down. I can safely say that transverse is much more uncomfortable than breech.

My baby was transverse until yesterday. It was never uncomfortable for me. Honestly, this breech position feels more uncomfortable to me.

mine as scanned as extended breech at 36+4 but now if feels hard the whole way across the top of my bump so i've no idea what postion she's in. all i can say is it hurts like hell!!!
it hurts at the bottom aswell :=-( oooooooooooof

I was told at 28 weeks the baby was transverse, though as this is my first baby I had nothing to compare it to so didnt find it all that uncomfortable. I think the baby has moved a bit, Im feeling much heavier pressure on my pelvic area now.

I wish I could distinguish the different movements I feel, lots of rolls and kicks and punches but I just cant tell the positioning at all. Mainly I feel a hardness around my belly button so dont know if thats the head or not????

My lil one does be between breech and trans alot...
he was breeech until 30wk and then flipped to headdown
and now back to breech & trans

Sat b4 last i was scanned and he was transverse , bum under my ribs
was scanned there fri just gone and he was transverse the other way
bum resting on my hips facing upwards

I find tranverse a Great postion personally its quite comfiie for me
(but when bum under the ribs thats not lol)
I must be mad but breech is a very reassuring position for me when hes
breech i feel all his moves sooo much more..
i felt least movement when he was head down tbh..

am actually hopin he stays trans or breech as its most reassuring and best for me xx

My LO is transverse at the mo (well, she was at 28w 3d scan and I'm still feeling the kicks etc in the same place). She's really low down though so I'm quite comfy - no rib pain yet! Hoping she'll turn before too long though!

Thanks for the replies i was told at 20 week scan and 25 week MW she was breech and can feel her feet when she kick my hip and side.

I'm not too worried as MW wasn't but please little lady turn for mummy
xx
