I've started washing all of his clothes-I'm not bothered about them as they'll be in drawers so I don't mind them being sat for a while as they're free from dust. we've been given things such as bouncer chair and Moses basket and we bought the pram second hand although it's practically brand new. Anyway. I've started washing literally everything. I've taken the pram to pieces and hand washed everything in the bath. I want to wash all the bouncer chair covers ect but I'm worried about them all being sat in the nursery for 2 months. I really don't want them all dusty and awful when he's here hmm. I genuinely don't think I'll have the time or energy to do all this any later. What have u ladies done? I'm thinking of putting the pram back together and using the rain cover to keep it covered. Thanks x

We're putting the cot up today and next week my parents are coming up with a van to bring all the stuff I have been storing in their garage from DS1 lol, once I've got that I can properly start. I'm going to do bits and pieces from now, like you say I think if I leave it all to do at the end il be too tired, I will probably do the clothes a little later but that's mostly out of procrastination I think haha. Hitting ikea next weekend too, excited! We have just moved and the baby's room is the only one with boxes left to unpack as I am waiting for furniture so I am eager to get nesting and feel organised.

Oh should add I need to look into borrowing a steam cleaner sometime to spruce up the pram as that has been in a garage, I will probably do that next month (well when I say me, I will organise the rental and DH can do the hard work haha)

I started washing a while ago before we moved this summer just a little as I got things because I didn't want to save all if it for on top of a move too. I've rewashed a bit but so far I have all his clothes and cloth diapers all set. And I finished that prob by now and I'm
Past my due date but I started the whole process at 20-22 weeks probably. I don't have his crib up yet but I have the bassinet set up in our room. I'm waiting on the crib because it's in the other room and I have family staying there and I didn't want it to take up too much space so that will get done eventually. But all the sheets and the mattress pad and blankets are washed and ready to go.

Our cot is up but mattress is still in its packaging and the cover thats on is our spare and will be changed a day before baby uses it. Moses basket is still in packaging, awaiting on the stand and Ill set that up with packaging still on as I want our dog to get used to it being in living room.

I have done one load of washing which is drying on the maiden :)

& pram is still in its box, I will set up around 37 weeks :)!

Carseat yet to be purchased but will also set it up around 37 weeks :)

I finally got it all done about 37 weeks. Last time I was organised a lot earlier :haha:

I'm glad everyone's started too! I'm just going to leave everything covered and fingers crossed it'll be okay! The cot and changing unit is up and has been for weeks but I'll just wipe it down closer to the time. The mattress' are all still in the packaging and so are the bed covers I'll probably leave them until a few weeks before

We've set up the crib, (with the mattress still in the plastic) have most of the decor finished, washed blankets and sheets and have them in the drawer for now. I haven't washed any clothing yet as I'm afraid to cut the tags from the newborn stuff in case she is big and the clothes are too small? Stroller, car seat, pack & play, bouncy seat etc are still in their boxes.

Not anytime soon lol probably won't have time til maternity leave starts at 37w

I've done nothing just ordered the crib yesterday with the bedding I feel like I need to hurry I'm getting induced in two months and I'm so not ready, might start washing his clothes in the beginning of Nov. when they have a better idea if a date since I'll be monitored weekly from then on, still need bottles and thing but waiting on my boss to come back from vacation since she's giving me some things I'll be so happy when things are more organized

I'm stressing and I have literally everything lol! Just worried if I leave it any later. It's soooo annoying not knowing when baby will arrive! I'd prefer everything set just incase he is early (he's going to be late I know it). Just going to carry on it'll have to be ok lol x

I have washed everything now, started at around 34 weeks. I'm slowly bringing things down from the attic. I put the moses baset together yesterday. Won't do the cot until she's here. Pram is still in attic but is ready to go. Carseat is in car with hosp bags :)

I have done everything and now I'm bored :dohh:

Will give anything sitting out a once over nearer the time :)

We have everything ready now. This week, the car seat goes into the back seat to get the dog used to it.

I insisted we have the nursery painted and done before I started maternity leave and am I ever glad I did. Things have been so much harder the further along I've got. I wouldn't be able to do half of what needed doing now that I'm on crutches, taking a bath every day just to manage the pain.

Now the baby bag is packed. I just need to get motivated and pack my own!

I'm so unorganised lol Moses basket is still sat in a cupboard as using same one my daughter used probably won't set this up in our room until week 37. All clothes still need washed I'm waiting until I've had my 34 week scan so I defiantly know its a boy before taking the tags off everything lol and the double pram won't get bought until my maternity allowance comes through I should get it back dated as waiting for payslips off my ex employer so probably 4 weeks before il be buying that. I haven't even started thinking about my hospital bag!

Reusing cot aswell as were going to move our daughter into a toddler bed when our boy is ready for the cot.

We have washed most of our baby clothes and sorted into drawers according to age. :laundry: :hangwashing:
We've bought :crib:the cot, bedding, pram travel system, pack n play, bath and changing mat that sits on top of the dresser. We're also stocking up on nappies, wipes, cream etc as we go along.
It's our first baby and were both really excited :happydance: don't want to leave everything until the last minute.
