When are you telling people?

With my 3 m/c's, I told my mum straight away that I was pregnant but I have not told a soul.

I know if it is going to happen, I cannot do anything about it.

I was toying with the idea of telling mum last night

Has anyone held back from telling their families because of previous losses?

when i was pg with leo we told my sis at about 5/6 wks but didnt tell anyone else till i was 15+ wks. would of gone longer but people started guessing. next time i wont tell people till they guess again.

hi well i have had 4mmc and this time i reallt didnt wanna tell no 1 but its impossible i have told my mum and my best friend because they way i see it is if anything did happen pray to god it wont 4 either of us.....i want my mum and my bestmates support but its all down to personel prefrence then if im blessed enough to make it to 12 weeks and everything id great well annonce our news been dreaming of that day :~)

i wanted to wait until 16 weeks wen i was due to have my early anomoly scan but decided to tell people after my nuchal results were clear at 12 weeks - for me this was due to people not knowing i was pregnant with charlie till about 16-17 weeks and then wen he died 5 weeks later people failed to comprehend how far we was along as they hadnt known for long iykwim

so this time round we wanted people to know earlier.. remember what happened with charlie was completly different to my first 4 losses so id say after nuchal scan is an ideal time xx
