My LO's nursery is hot, tooooo hot! 25-26 degrees. We don't have the heating on at home, it's just a water heater is inbetween her room and ours and it heats up the entire top floor of the house :dohh: Because of this I sleep LO in her sleepsuit only.

However, over the course of the night it can go down to 23 degrees and LO gets cold. So i've started to pop a blankie over her when she wakes around the 4-5am mark... it's a cellular blanket if that makes any difference.

Is that OK?

:headspin:

my LO sleeps with a loose blanket now
hes swaddled though, and he sleeps with it all along his left side with his head snuggled in it. its a cellular too though and ive figured its pretty breathable so he'll be fine. i also think if he couldnt breathe he'd move his face

Yes, we used a blanket in the summer. Just make sure yoir babys feet to foot of the cot and it's tucked in well.

It should be fine. We are very naughty over here, baby sleeps with us under our blanket. :) We just make sure it stays under his arms which is no problem. When he naps in his crib he still sometimes has a blanket on him. No problems what so ever!

Oh I don't tuck it in  but she is feet to foot. She wiggles about so much I sort of tuck it around her body (tummy) and her legs and feet so she can't really escape it iykwim?

I never cover up any further than her tum and it never goes over her arms or face.
