When did you LO start wearing 12-18 month clothes?

About 2 weeks ago. Some of her 9-12 months stuff still fits her though. Cardigans, jeans ect.

I do seem to find that H&M and Next clothes come up huge on her though.

x

Lily is still in some 12-18 month stuff (especially trousers).. She'll be 3 in January! Connor is 19 months and is in 18-24 month tops, but still in 9-12 month trousers. I have very short children. Lol.

Today it was chilly and I pulled out some pants out of the drawer from last winter/spring, and they still fit. In fact they fit better (no diaper)....

I started putting him in some 12-18 size right around his 1st birthday, but there was some 9-12 mixed in as well. Some of it was a little loose to begin with but not ridiculously so. At 14 months, his wardrobe is finally fully switched to 12-18 and it all fits him nicely.

It kind of depends on the brand, as well, though.

Malcolm is a perfect fit in 12-18 mo. for Carters, but some brands, like WalMart's Garanimals are absolutely huge on him, and the couple of shirts I got from The Children's Place are a little on the slim side through the torso, even for my beanpole of a boy.

Ds2 is nearly 16months and he's still in 6-9 and some 9-12 month stuff I think he will be 2 before he's in 12-18 months he's 25th centile for height and just below 25th for weight he's a very small toddler. My first ds was always in clothes a month after the size began so went into 12-18 at 13months but he was always 99th centile for height and 50th for weight

Around a year old I think. Dd is tall and slim though so stuff often fits in height while its still quite baggy width wise. Shes had a growth spurt recently and went up a shoe size and outgrew some of her 2-3 clothes so I'm buying her 3-4 now, most of which she fits. She is 2y9m.

My DD is around 50th for height and weight, 16.5 months old and most 12-18 stuff is huge on her still.

She's just had a bit if a growth spurt so the lengths are too bad but the waist bands are huge on her and fall down and look silly.

I think I'm going to have to take them in.

She was always pretty correct to her size for the first 9 months or so so last summer I bought lots of summer clothes in 12-18m in the sales. She's not been able to wear most of it this year so I'm hoping either I can layer it up for winter (flamingo print dresses at Christmas time. Haha) or that she can wear it next summer.

She's still got stuff from some shops that's 6-9 months and fits great. It's the length she outgrows so if they were particularly long dresses now they make cute longer tops with leggings etc.

I won't be buying any 18-24 clothes until I know she'll fit. I've learned my lesson!

Charlie is a big lad. He's been in 12-18s since the Spring when I put his summer clothes out. Now we're going into Autumn/winter he's in 18-24s mostly with a few 12-18 tops still in there. I need to top up his wardrobe and he's in 2-3 vests too!

My little one is still in 9-12 mostly, but she can fit some 12-18 but everything still looks a bit big. Dresses are below her knees etc lol.

But it does depend on shop though, M&S Indigo 12-18 fits quite well now.

DD1 went into 12-18 at 9 months old. She is very tall though, her height has been off the chart since she was 4 months old. She went into 18-24 at 15 months and 2-3 at about 22 months. X

Sophie did around 11-13 months. She had some things in 12-18 months before this to accommodate her cloth nappy and chubby legs. She's had a pair of stretchy jeans she has worn from 6-22 months!

She's 22 months now, about 25th centile for length, just over 75th for weight and in size 2 clothing now.

my DD is always a size behind at least...still in some 9-12 stuff at 23 months!mainly in 12-18atm

My lo went into size 12-18 months at 8 months old. At 15 months old he went into 18-24 months clothes. Now at almost 22 months I am just starting to rotate in size 3T. My lo has always been big though.

About 16/17months I think for some things. He's still in the same size now at almost 21 months.

here clothes sizes are relative t the height not age. obviously height differs from child t child.

My daughter since she was 8 months - she's heavyset though and I use cloth diapers.

My son is 4.5 and still wears some 24m clothes... He was a micro preemie and is still quite small

My 9 month old and 4.5 year old wear the same size diaper :dohh:

I buy stuff seasonally, Her 12-18mths was summery and autumn/winter is 18-24 so she is wearing it big or not :D

I do that too! I bought 12-18 month trousers from h&m. They are massive on her but they are winter trousers.....so she will wear them lol

dd2 is 15 months. I do put 12-18 t-shirts on her but they are quite big, Skirts and trousers are far to big still, so she is still mainly in 9-12mo
