When did you move baby to their own room?

My DD was a fairly good sleeper from the start and was moved into her room at 5 weeks. She slept a lot better in there and still sleeps in there at nearly 10 months. If she has an early morning she'll sleep with me in my bed but that's about it

dd and ds both sleep in the same room as me, but once we move I'm planning on moving them or at least dd to begin with in her own room.

My eldest was 10 months. My second went in with her sister at 9 months, which is wgmhen she consistently sttn. My youngest will be in my room until she is also sttn on a regular basis (not happened even once, yet!) I only have a 2 bed house so its either in with me or her sisters, so I have no other choice.

8 weeks as DD got too long for her basket and the cot wouldn't fit in our room.

We all slept better once she moved we just kept both doors open and used angelcare monitors x

6/7 weeks for my first and 5 months for my second. I got zero sleep first time around as DS1 and oh were snorers and I found I woke to every little noise and tried to comfort ds1 waking him in the process. DS2 slept better in general and actually we semi coslept as he settled better that way. We were also concerned he'd wake his brother up. Additionally he lasted much longer in the rocking crib so less of a rush for him to be out.

DD1 went into her own room at just under 7 months. DD2 went into the room (shared with DD1) at 7.5 months. Both sstn from very young (12 wks dd1, 5 wks dd2) but i just couldnt bear to not have them near me haha xx

I'm letting my son decide when he feels ready as we are having no issues. Personally I wouldn't move him early as sleeping in their own room is a SIDS risk, I would just move a single bed/mattress into their room so I would still be with them without the noise issues from my partner xx

DD1 moved out of our bed and into her own room completely of her own accord aged just over 3. She still regularly came into bed with us in the night until recently, but I'd now sleeping through in her own bed every night.

DD2 is still co-sleeping with us, and will do for at least a couple of years, I guess! She may choose to move in with her sister before then - we'll see. DD1 is dying for the day she can have her sister asleep in her bed with her! I imagine they'll choose to share a room for a few years, though DD2 could have her own room if she wanted.

Both kids are still in our bed, oldest is almost 3 and youngest is almost 10 months. We are in no rush to move either of them.

Around 4 months, we found that we all slept better when we moved him. Xx
