when did you start discussing names?

As the title says really! lol

In our first PG we started straight away, and this time, we're much further along - 13 weeks now, but hubby doesnt want to talk about it yet we have aaaaaaages yet! lol

so... out of curiosity when did the serious discussions state?

We started having light hearted discussions about it before we started ttc, then we talked about it properly once ttc and whilst preg! x

with my 1st we made lists we both liked early on before 12 weeks id say , but hubby didnt want to decide until the birth , i looked at his lists and was horrified quite frankly so i was happy to wait , all the time i had a name in my head and then said it at the birth and he was that overwhelmed etc he said fine .

with DS2 he said he didnt want to discuss names until the birth again , when i was in the hospital and he had gone home i kept texting him names i liked until he eventually liked one. however we had trouble deciding on a middle name and that wasnt chosen until the day we went to register him ( bout 3 weeks later lol )

with this one ive said have you got any ideas for names and he just avoids the conversation , he believes in seeing what the baby looks like and deciding ..pfft ill just have my names in my head again i guess.

I've already got a list of names, quite a few are on our short list, and we even think we decided on the names for the first one. Though it may change.

We already have our Boys Name and first middle name all we need to decide is what his second middle name is going to be lol

But for girls we have a MASSSSSIVE List already (Were LTTTC) xx

pretty much right away but boys names are really hard we have already come up with a girls but a boys ...ehhh not yet there

We had names chosen around 14 weeks, then once we found out she was a girl at 24 weeks we changed our minds on her middle name and it took us a week or so to come to an agreement.

we chose the name alfie the day after we started our relationship and stuck with it

i love baby names so started thinking of them as soon as i knew i was pregnant then whenever i found a name i liked i would see if OH liked it or not. xx

We decided the name for a boy as soon as we knew I was pregnant.
We didn't pick her final name until I was in third tri. x

HE didnt want to discuss names until we found out the sex. Mommy on the other hand wants to have it narrowed down to one boy and one girl name so when we do find out, we can start calling baby by name.. We did start trying to narrow it down last week, so thats a start. i *think* we are settled on a girl name but not even close on the boy. He likes Cole for a boy and I want Bryce. We'll see!
