When did you stop using your bouncer? What baby seat do you use?

We have loved our Baby Bjorn bouncer for the last few months, but now LO can almost sit unaided she seems to get very frustrated in it. It doesn't sit upright enough for her if that makes sense. And she is bored of the the toy attachment. However she also finds her Bumbo very restrictive and doesn't like being in it. She prefers up on the settee with me or on the floor with cushions. That's fine when we are playing together but sometimes I need to be able to leave her for a few minutes unsupervised. So I wondered when others found their LO's didn't like their bouncers and what other baby seat have you now progressed to?

i have a blow up ring that has toys attacjhed to it that lo sits in and if he goes to fall over the ring stops him, its called a playnest, at first he coould only sit in it for a few mins, but slowly he progressed to sitting in it for ages, its great

Not all babies are so good in their play ring! My little one's favourite hobby is trying to tip himself out of it and has been successful a couple of times so it is strictly a supervised activity.

I have no good answers for you, I am struggling with this at the moment. Since he has started rolling and crawling backwards he hates to be restricted so it is hard to find a safe place for him when I need to leave him for a minute. We use an infant to toddler rocker with the safety bar in place but he is not impressed.

We have the mamas and papas go go rocker.

Anna is still loving it and she is now 10 months.

From 7 months on though she has spent the day mostly just sitting/rolling around the carpet so I dont think I would suggest you get another seat

tbh I would advise you try and do without - we have the toddler rockers and I am SURE that this has delayed the boys sitting - they STILL arent that interested at nearly ten months - the chairs dont sit upright you see so encourages slouching imo.

Anyway after that unsolicited advice (sorry) these are the ones they have - they are fabulous for containing them although the little stand needs to be out now as they can rock themselves out.
