When did you tell people? Or did you?

I plan to tell my mom sometime this month but what about friends? I'm only about 4-5 weeks along so idk if that's to soon to say anything or not. When did you tell?

well my family is high on the superstition that if you tell people before your second tri that you could miscarry i dont believe that really but i told maybe 3-4 of my closest friends when i found out and i waited to tell everyone else till maybe around 10 weeks i'd say? but its whenever you feel comfortable

at 12 weeks i changed my MySpace preference from no kids to expecting and slowly people caught on, my mam found the pregnancy test after i left (she kicked me out but i also left because it was quite violent at home, i was about 5/6 months by the time she found it)

The minute I found out I told my mother ,I was about five weeks when I found out , told a few close friends as well but waited till I was 12 weeks to tell me dad

I told my mom at like 12 weeks,due to a bad experience with my sister during my first pregnancy that ended in mc sadly. And i didnt want to ruin the holidays. So i waited. She was ecstatic. She told my das and they told the extended family. I told my sister and it all went well this time. Its really all on when you feel comfortable with it.

Right now only my boyfriend, mom, sister & gram know. When I get my first ultrasound & know everything is okay then ill post a pic of it on Facebook.

I told my mom and a couple of best friends at 8 weeks and the rest ( work and friends) at 18 weeks

I have always told immediate famiky, immediately. This oregnancy wasnt announced until.i was 16 weeks because of a complicated first tri.

I found out at 5 weeks. I told my boyfriend immediately (who was already suspecting it) and we told our moms together the next day (who both were also already suspicious and expecting the news) I told my little sister who's a close friend about a day later because she lives far away from me and I couldn't reach her any sooner. I've told a few close friends since then, my aunt who lives with me and my fam, our cousins who we're close with who live in town, and a couple people who I see around a lot for various reasons. My grandparents and other family members who don't live in town don't know yet- I'm terrified to tell them.

Oh I told 2 friends just after I found out, and another 2 within the next 1-2 weeks, big mistake, 2 of them went and told EVERYONE. The whole island knew by time I was about 6 weeks pregnant :/

I found out at 4/5 weeks. I told my boyfriend immediately and my cousin. Later on that day I told my mum and dad, OH told his mum and dad, I told close relatives at 12 weeks and facebook at 21 weeks.

Varied with each pregnancy.

First: found out at 8/9 weeks gone, told my mum and OHs mum a few days after finding out. Told the rest of the world after my 12 week scan.

Second: found out at 5 weeks, told my mum and OHs mum at around 10/11 weeks. Rest of the world at 12 weeks.

Third: found out at 4/5 weeks. Told mum at 6 weeks. Told OHs mum a bit after. Told the rest of the world around 14 weeks.

Other than a few close friends that found out early as I needed their support and to talk.

Family and close friends knew as soon as I knew. I never announced on Facebook or anything like that, I felt it wasn't anyone's business but mine and who I chose to tell.
