..put your LO to sleep in their cot by themselves and leave them?

Alfie is 7 weeks old and has slept through the night since 1 week old so now i am gona try and get him into a little routine of bath, feed then bed around 7ish then give him another feed around 11ish when i go to bed.

As it is at the moment i usually take him up at 11ish give him his feed then put him down then he wakes at around 7 ish for his morning feed then goes back to sleep until 10 then wakes for another feed so i tend to stay in bed so dont end up getting up until 10;30ish.
then during the day he naps on and off then at about 7pm ish he wakes up for a feed and is awake from then until bed time.

i have started him tonight on this routine he went to bed at 7;30 with 5 oz of expressed milk and a 10 min feed on breast (his normal feed is around 25 min) and he is still fast asleep. hope it works :

Good luck!!!! I didn't set a routine with Hayden until he started sleeping in his own bed at 12mo, until then it was all based on him, but he set his own and he would go to sleep in my bed by himself between a 1-2hr period at night

Chloe set her own routine from week 6 and was sleeping through at 8 weks, she didnt go in her own room until she was 6 months

annabelle set her own routine at 8 weeks and was sleeping through from 1opm i then put her in her cot in her own room as she didnt want to go in moses basket and i personally didnt want to co sleep.
she decided herself about a week later that 10pm was too late and we couldnt keep her awake past 8, then that has got earlier so now she has a bath, baby massage and bottle and in bed for 7 and sleeps through

I put her in her cot at 7 weeks I think? Started at 8pm but she wasn't settling well, so I changed it to 9pm and she goes straight down. I will lower her bed time when she get's abit older. But so far so good
