Hi ladies.

I know there's not an exact science to this as each baby is different etc etc but I wondered when your LOs started going longer between feeds at night?

Fin generally goes 2.5-3hrs between feeds in both the day & night. He actually strectched longer when I was BF and actually slept through a few times. I don't mind so much because he's still so young but I'm finding it hard as he's a noisy sleeper so after waking, changing, feeding, winding & settling and then getting back to sleep myself with him grunting away in his basket, I'm only just getting back to sleep about 1.5 hrs before he's due for his next feed. I'm not getting any length to fall into a proper deep refreshing sleep and it's haaaard! xx

It is hard hun, but it will get easier!
It all depends on the baby. But Jake used to go t osleep around 8pm. Wake up at 12am for a feed. Then 4am for a feed. Then 8am again.
He was around 8weeks I think when he started to sleep through. He randomnly dropped all of his night feeds.
LO is still young so I wouldn't worry too much. It just takes time for these things but im sure it will happen :)

I put in a bit of a bedtime routine pretty early. Bath, bottle then bed. Also use the Johnson's night time range, i've found Jake does sleep better when i've used it!

Hope you get some more rest soon hun. xx

Omar started to stretch time between feeds at 6 weeks. He started to go for 6 hrs, then 7-8 hrs at 8 weeks. At 12 weeks he dropped all night feeds & started to go for 12-13 hrs. What helped to stretch is using a dummy. We he used to wake up for a feed at night we used to offer him his dummy instead of a feed, he used to sleep for another 1-2 hrs before waking up again. xx

poor u:hugs:
how much is fin taking at each feed?only asking cause we had to up brodies feed from 3.5oz to 4oz the other day as he was only managing 2.5-3hrs between feeds(he is 2and a half weeks old).hes now back to 4 hrs between during the day and 5hrs at night.
hope u get a good refreshing sleep soon

I could have wrote the excact same thing! I know my baby boy is only 2 weeks old but he is such a noisy sleeper and all night long grunts and moans in his sleep, and he is also suffering abit with colic which seems worse at night! He is now on 4oz but only goes about 2.5/3 hours and doesnt always have the 4 oz's! Defo looking forward to him going a little longer at night x

Elim is the same, except he's had us up most of the night for the past 2 nights. Ive changed his milk today to the hungry baby one as I tried upping the amount from 3oz to 4oz but he was didnt want the last oz.

nicole was the same at that age too. then out of the blue she slept through the nite from 9pm to 6am woohoo but it only lasted a few nites. shes still waking twice a nite no matter what i do or how much i feed her, shes on HBF. her bro was the complete opposite, slept 14hrs from 6 wks.

3 months for us - 3 hours. We are at 6 hours now at 5 months except teething and growth spurt
