when do you know you need a faster teet?

my little one was doing 4-5oz per feed but started suffering with colic. we moved from tommee tippee to dr brown bottles. the colic is subsiding with the new bottles but she only does 3oz per feed then falls asleep and sometimes is suckling the teet rather than sucking it properly for milk...do you think she needs a faster teet??

Falling asleep, taking ages to drink the usual amount and messing around are the main signs. I'd say it's worth trying a faster teat, but the first couple of times, have one of the old ones sterilised ready, in case you need to switch back.

Hi hun. Dr. Browns teat 1 flow is much slower than TT's. When we switched to Dr. we had to use size 3 & we were using size 2 with TT xx

Thanks ladies! We moved on to level 2 today and she's back drinking her full 4-5oz and doesn't seem to be stressing try to suck so hard bless her. x
