When do your boobs get smaller?

I have two ugly nursing bras and am considering getting some much nicer ones so that I don't feel so frumpy. I am worried that my boobs are going to get smaller, even as I continue nursing? I was a 32B before pregnancy and am now a 32DD. I plan on breastfeeding hopefully until I get pregnant again next summer (that is the plan). Do one's boobs shrink while they are still feeding? Would it be a waste for me to buy some nice bras in my current size? (Baby is 3 months).

My breasts never really got bigger, even during pregnancy. They would get bigger in the beginning if my baby didn't eat for a while and I would get engorged, but that's it. I am almost at 8 months and they don't even do that anymore. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.

They may get slightly smaller but I have always remained at roughly the same size throughout BF. A good nursing bra will fit a few sizes both slightly larger and slightly smaller, if needed xx

Hmmm I wish mine would get smaller! But nope at nearly 8 months I am still a 32G! (Previously a 32D)

I feel your pain! I have 2 nursing bras that will fit and that's it. The ones I bought at the beginning of bfing are waaaaay too small. (I was originally a 36C now 36DD).
I hate spending money on an item that might not be used long but the girls need support and the cheapies don't do as well

I started my pregnancy with barely there boobs lol (like the smallest size bra was too big basically... :/) late 2nd to early 3rd trimester, I went up to a size C, now at 10.5 months pp and EBF, my boobs are usually uneven (the left side typically produces more milk) lol...usually a size A...although I really never wear a bra since I'm always home and DS is still EBF.

Mine get to a more normal size at around 11mo to a year - my daughter is almost 20mo and my boobs are the same size (or a little smaller!!) than before I was pregnant. She still nurses around 3-4x/day.
