When do your breasts start to leak?

This is my second pregnancy. With my first I leaked at 28wks. I am currently nearly 33wks with my second and ive had nothing. Im concerned that I may have somehow damaged my nipples! I combi fed my son, but had to use a breast pump. I used a manual pump, 3-4 times a day and it got to the point where my nipples would hurt (I did this for 8wks total til my milk stopped coming). Is it possible my nipples are damaged somehow, or am I possibly worrying over nothing? Xx

Sometimes they don't, mine didn't until after my milk came in after my son was born, not before

I have never leaked in pregnancy.

Nothing coming from mine yet at 39+2. I know it'll arrive when we need it.

I didnt leak till about 4 days after I gave birth once my milk started.

mine never leaked with my 1st pregnancy till after he was born this time they have been leaking since about 25weeks

Mine never leaked in pregnancy last time but if I squeezed I could get some colostrum near the end of pregnancy. I doubt thy will leak this time either, don't worry xx

You did not damage your nipples! Often times, even people who leaked with their first will not In Later pregnancies. I breast fed my kids for 2.5 and 1.5 yesrs, working full time and pumping four times a day for a year for each of them...no issues here, they will still work for #3
