I started having really sensitive gag reflexes at about 6 weeks. Literally every single morning I wake up and have the normal "phlegm" or "post nasal drip" in my throat and I try and clear it and then instantly gag and usually end up throwing up after that. I have this feeling all morning long due to the gunky feeling in my throat! I am almost 14 weeks now and everyone keeps telling me my MS will get better but it's not and I'm beginning to wonder if I have just created some type of sick habit and it will never go away. Does anyone else experience this or am I crazy?

If post nasal drip is a cause see if you can stop that. Prop yourself up on more pillows when you sleep. Try a vaporizer at night. Make sure you are warm enough.
I'm almost 14 weeks too. I get a lot of phlemy type stuff in the mornings too. Dairy makes it worse I notice do I cut back. My friend had the same and was always clearing her throat. Hope the gagging gets better!

Mine is the same, but i also start gagging if i talk too much and also when we have DTD!!

I had really bad problems with this until about 16 weeks when it got quite a bit better. I do still gag at some things (certain smells, when I brush my teeth, if I'm really tired, when I'm really hungry etc.) but I've still got nausea, so I suspect it's more to do with that.

My morning sickness was mostly just gagging.
It's gotten a lot better for myself, but my gag reflex is still a lot more sensitive than it used to be and will act up.

If I eat to much... I gag
If I smell something gross... I gag
If I think about gagging... I gag
If I think about a nasty smell... I gag

lol

i get this when brushing my teeth day and night, it's not as bad in the evening but i still gag. during the first 12 weeks though i'd be sick aswell sometimes if i ate too close to brushing! ive had this from day one im not sure if it will stop it hasn't for me so far...

The bad thing about me when I gag is how sick it makes me feel afterward. I guess I basically dry heave or something and that causes my jaw and mouth to water (like right before you throw up) and then my tummy gets really upset and then 9 times out of 10 i puke. it's awful!!! it happened literally first thing this morning in the shower. i'm just so afraid it's psychological and won't ever go away!!!

My boyfriend farted and I gagged I so bad I threw up. LMAO I never had morning sickness but Im so sensitive to smells and sights and thoughts. usually its just gagging but the odd time I do puke. then OH says to me "is it bad that Im proud" lmao men!!!
