When is he hungry?

I dont know why but I never know when Leo is hungry. I think its because I feed him before he has a chance to get hungry and I am paranoid he is starving when he cries. Would it be normal now for him to say not be hungry in between waking at 8 and 12pm?

tbh, Kaya was still feeding at least every 2 hours at that age. If he's not hungry he won't eat.

Woah mummy, he will cry when he's hungry, and he won't be starving unless you don't feed him when he cries x

Yeah sometimes I try and feed him and he feeds for a few minutes and pulls off so I guess he wasnt hungry! He is gaining weight though but I heard some people have feeding routines but I defo do not!

We're still feeding on demand and he sometimes feeds at 8am, then nothing until about 1. It just depends what mood he's in. Do you use a dummy? If he's really hungry, he'd just keep spitting it out until you fed him.

We have a rough routine but she's dictated it. She goes 1.5 hrs to 8 hrs between feeds!

If she decides to eat at a time she wouldnt normally then so be it and by the same token if she's asleep or not wanting to feed then thats fine too!

We kind of have a routine, only because I found if she ate too soon she got super colicky. During the day she goes 3hrs bettween feeds...

I don't know if I'll ever have a routine, I'm hoping to as she gets older, sometimes she'll eat every hour for 20 minutes and then other times she'll go 2-3 hours.

She's kinda worked herself into her own routine! She lets me know when shes hungry because she starts grunting and waving her arms around everywhere. There are usually signs well before a screeching fit starts
