When LO's Are Teens - What Kinda Mum Dya Think You'll Be?!

So just for a wee bit of fun, i thought it'd be funny to look into the future and predict what kinda mum we'll end up being to our LO's.

Here are the categories:

Cougar Mum - If you have a boy then all his mates will fancy you and refer to you as a MILF or if you have a little girl, you'll be the mum they all wanna look like

Super Mum - Your the mum who's so on top of everything, your so immaculately dressed and the house is so spick and span that not a speck of dust dons your home...You COULDNT possibly have it any other way!

Laid back Mum - Your so easy going, your practically horizontal....Your son/daughter wants to know about sex...HELL YES, you'll sit down and have 'the talk' in a heartbeat...drugs, drink etc - Its cool, your only young once, you've gotta give it a go at some point!

Pushy Mum - Your the mum who's always pushing your teen the achieve the best...B grade isn't good enough for you....It HAS to be A* all the way! Alternatively, your teen might have a talent, this NEEDS to be encouraged, he/she MUST succeed at it...They MUST!!!

Or any other...


Personally i'd LIKE to be a bit of a Cougar Mum, mixed in with a bit of Super Mum, laced with a little Laid back in me to!

laid back mum, but within reason! i beleive they should experience everything and have the freedom to do so and make their own decisions (guided by me but not pushed)

Well I guess it's cheating a bit but I'm already mum to a teen. I'm a laid back mum and seem to be a bit of an agony aunt to her mates! Not so much ATM but usually my house resembles a youth club and my daughter calls me emo mum lol - apparently it's a compliment!

there is no way ill be super mum lol, id like to think id be laid back only without the allowing drugs part.

we were always able to talk o my mum about anything as long as it was a serious question and not just to cause embarrassment, i want to be that mum

Abit of all of them mixed in together!! I'd like my LO to think of me as cool, and she can talk to me about anything - but there definitely still has to be a parent-child divide out of respect. I'm not going to be pushy, but anything she likes to do or excels at I will fully support 100% and do anything I can to get her where she needs to be! x

Terrified mum - So scared my child will go drinking, taking drugs, getting piercings, getting tattoos and failing at school that I never let them out of my sight!

But only because thats EXACTLY what I did as a teenager! xx

I want my little girl to be able to talk to me about anything and not lie to me about where she has been/done as I did with my parents as I'm sure I have been there and done that, plus by the time she is a teenager I will only be in my mid thirties so hopefully will be still out down the pub etc and not embarrasing to be around heehee!

The little man will hopefully see me as more than just a maid and taxi service! But I suppose all in all I'm aiming to be a laid back mum and agony aunt x
