I know I've posted on a couple of people's thread about a very similar subject but I am pretty concerned about my lack of weight gain.

I lost 8lbs at the start of my pregnancy due to serve morning sickness. 8lbs may not seem a lot to most but when your 5ft and had a bmi of 21, an 8lbs lost makes you look very ill. my bmi ended up going down to 19. something. 19.1 I think It was.
I started to gain the weight again around 13 weeks, I've gained 5lbs back, but the last 3 weeks I haven't gained anything.
now usually I wouldn't worry about lack of weight gain. I only gained 15lbs with each of my boys.
i'm worried my lack of weight gain is effecting my baby's growth, my 20 week scan hasn't helped that worry.
I see my midwife again on the 29th if come then I still haven't gained anything or only gained 1 or 2lbs would it be worth talking to her about it?

I lost weight with my last pregnancy due to severe sickness and didn't gain it all back by the end but had a healthy big baby. x

I lost weight in my first trimester I gained it back in my 2nd trimester I am now headed into 3rd trimester and my weight is still the same. Gainig 1 - 2lbs is normally what you should be gaining weekly, but you might be different this pregnancy you could put it on in your 3rd trimester. If you're concerned say it to mw but if you are eating healthy than I wouldnt say you have anything to worry about xx

I lost in first tri and I'm still not up to my starting weight. My doc said she isn't worried about it and won't be concerned unless I don't gain in third tri. I would mention it to her absolutely - you have that right, especially if it's worrying you.

No two pregnancies are the same, your baby will be taking all they need from you, you might not be gaining weight but your baby will be. I am overweight anyway, but I lost 21lb when I fell pregnant, and still haven't gained any back at all, and this baby looked big on scans. Try not to worry too much, midwife will do measurements at 24 week scan, and if anything doesn't add up she will send you for a growth scan. Chin up sweetheart, you may just be one of those people who doesn't put on much weight. My aunty had 3 children and she put on a stone in total with each of them, she was low bmi like you and all 3 of her children are now happy healthy teenagers :)

I've had 3 growth scans booked since 16 weeks for 28, 32, and 36 weeks but because of the results of my 20 week scan she's referred me for an earlier growth scan. just waiting to hear back for when that will be.
baby is pretty much on track for everything few days behind at most apart from his legs which were near on 2 weeks behind, that with me not having gained much just adds more worry to it all.
