So I had an + LH surge yesterday (same colour as the control line), and today its starting to fade, its there but you need to squint. Does this mean Ovulation is done and dusted, and now I just need to wait?

I know that the LH surge means that Ovulation is close, so just wondered if when it starts to drop, that means its done.

I only get 1-2 pos tests a month, then it starts to fade rapidly! I always get a faint line throughout my cycle, but it only shows positive on one or two tests.
I count my pos OPK test as the day before O. Then the next day after is O day, then the next day is 1 DPO. It always matches up with my luteal phase that way.
So this month I got my POS on Saturday, O day was Sunday, and Monday was 1 DPO.

You might also sometimes get another positive LH surge a day or 2 later as the LH is existing, it can sometimes take a few days to clear as well which is why some women get positive results for several days. If you got a positive and now it's negative i would say you have or are about to ovulate

You generally ovulate sometime in the 12-36 hours after your LH surge, so depending on what time of day you tested and whether you catch it's peak or the start or finish of it, you might ovulate later that day, the next day or even the day after (I've experienced all 3). You can't really know unless you are charting your temperature and see a spike. Just assume you are still fertile until you are really sure you have ovulated (temp or other signs).
