when to do it..?

my husband and i had a really small ceremony with just family and a few friends before he left for his army basic training... we didn't have time/couldn't afford a big wedding. we have been planning on doing a vow-renewal/actual wedding some time... but when is appropriate? i would guess on our anniversary, but i'm not sure if he will be here as he might be deployed to afghanistan. and our son will be 8 months old then... i wonder if that would be a crisis. i want to do it but... idk. i don't really know what i'm asking here... just talking and seeing if anyone was maybe ever in a similar situation. lol

I would definitely do it on an Anniversary, but you might want to wait until you know more about what is going on with your DH and his deployment.
