When to move up to 2 meals?

I was wondering when I should move Colton up to two meals a day?

Currently he gets 2-3oz of cereal (in juice) at about 8am; and a puree at about 4pm.
However, he is also eating 4oz bottles within 30 minutes of eating them and he eats 4-5oz every two hours during the day.

So right now he is getting about 36-37oz of formula, a puree, and cereal.
I'm think thats alot of formula just in one day, and was wondering about giving him another puree (I just let him eat as much as he wants of it.. usually eats about 1/2 of what he doesn't really like, almost all of the things he does)

How long after you LO started eating, did you move them up to two meals?

Ebonii started early like Colton and roughly after 4 weeks maybe 3 she was on 2 meals then shortly after onto 3 my girl likes her food too like Mummy me thinks

Thanks! He has been eating for roughly 7 weeks (only spoon fed for 3 though), so it's probably good to move him up then.

can only try if he likes it he likes it if not hes young enough to keep persevering (sp?) good luck x
