When to stop the daytime nap

Bethanie sleeps from about 8pm-7/8am and has a nap in the day for about an hour- an hour and a half. She seems to like her nap, if she doesn't go for it she tells me/looks like she is tired.

When do you stop their daily nap?

Chloe is 2yrs 6mths and still has a nap, I think ill stop it when i see a change in her night routine which at the minute is a good 12hr sleep 0830-0800/30. If she doesnt have her nap the moods/tantrums are terrible x

When I worked at a day care years ago, we still had naps for the 2-3 year olds.

Thanks girls - just my mum mentioned about naps the other day and got me wondering..

Ah yes the tantrums, we get those too if she doesn't nap.

I think if you have no problems with her going down at nite and sleeping thru, then she'll be alrite for alot longer, i only stopped kieran because on the occasion that he did nap i had real problems getting him to bed at nite x
