Hi ladies,

I came off my pill over a month ago and had a withdrawal bleed for about 12 days and nothing again until 1st June which was like a normal period (the amount of blood) and it lasted for 6 days but was extremely faint the final 2 days.

I never had any periods on the pill so I have no idea when to expect my next and if the pill would have messed my cycle up therefore I have no idea when I will actually be ovulating or expecting my next period? Calculator puts my ovulation for this Sunday but because I don't know if that is truly accurate we are trying to BD every other day at least to try and catch ovulation but when would you start testing from if you were in my situation?

TIA ladies

Cycle day 10 they say. But even from 8 might be worth it cus your unsure x

I was the exact same after i came of the pill, pretty sure i used to have 30/31 day cycles but the first one i had off the pill was 26! This cycle was the first i tested, I started testing from day 8 and got positive opk days 13 and 14 (ovulated 14 according to bbt) so think my cycle might be a little longer this time. Would recommend temping if you arent already, as pill can take a few months to recover from! Also cervical mucus is usually a good indication of fertile window!

After the pill it takes our bodies a little while to get on track again, so it may be a little confusing to learn your body's cycle. The first day of af when you get it, just tick it on a calendar. usually what ovulation is based on is two weeks after the first day of af. however, sometimes it isnt for everyone. and you are usually fertile for 4-5 days before that two week mark, and up to 24 hours after that two week mark. when that is done, af usually comes two weeks after the day of ovulation (4 weeks after the first day of af).

What else may help you track ovulation is temping. every mornng before you get out of bed, take your temp and write it down. do this everyday. when you have an increase in your temp (typically around a 0.4 increase, could be more) it indicates that ovulation has occurred. but dont stop temping! do it everyday because it will help you become familiar with your cycle. the increase in temp will usually last until the first day of af (for me, it sometimes lasts until the last day of af, so dont be alarmed if your temp doent drop automatically on the first day of af).

Another thing that you can do to predict o, is keeping track of cm. this will help you figure out when you are most fertile. there are alot of pictures and stages that you can look up to help you get familiar with what to look for.

I hope this helped and i also hope this isnt too confusing. I know how overwhelming it is to get all of this information at one time and try to make sense of it!
I wish you good luck and lots of baby dust! :)
