when to test?

When would pregnancy show up on a home test?
Had sort of unprotected sex on the 31st August - by sort of I mean we started off inprotected until we realised.. I know, stupid!

Did you test? I found out 9 days after we had sex (which was ONE time that entire cycle.. he was working out of town). The line was faint but you could definitely see it. If you ovulated around the 1st it would most likely show positive by now.
