Ds is 4 months now and I'm wondering if it's time to get him a cotbed. He sleeps in the Chicco cosleeper but we aren't using it as a cosleeper. He doesn't sit up and isn't too tall for it yet, but he moves sideways sometime and there just isn't space for him to move and he's trying to roll these days.

I travelled with the kids recently and at one location we rented packs n play for the kids and at the other location they both had large cots. He slept fine in both.

Dd slept in her cotbed since day 1 so I have no idea when to switch. When did you make the switch?

My dd was also in the chicco co-sleeper. We've just moved her into a cot at 6 months because she kept waking herself up because she didn't have enough space. My dd is tiny though, just above 2nd percentile so that's probably why she lasted so long before running out of space!
If you're ready for him to move into a cot and you think that he's running out of space than I'd go for it

We put DS in a cotbed at 4 months but he had been in a Moses basket and had outgrown it. We have the Chicco co sleeper for DD and I'm hoping she'll last until 6 months in it, she's not rolling yet and she likes it. We also haven't used it as a co sleeper but I'll keep hold of it incase we need to co sleep during teething to stop her falling off the bed.

I moved my lo to a cot once she started to roll at 3 months. With my first I only moved him when he was about 4.5 months. as he was bumping into the sides of the bassinet.

Ordered ds a cot bed, it should be here in a few days. so excited for him to have sleep space!
