I am in the same position as you.
My doctor told me to wait at least two months to start trying, but didn't give me much of a reason for it. My sister told me that doctors say this because if you get pg before an AF it makes it very difficult to figure out the dates, and your hormone levels may be a little off due to the previous pregnancy, but medically there is no reason that you can't try.
I am on CD12 after my D&C (I counted the day of the procedure as day 1 as I started bleeding right away) and I am still getting false HPT positives and false OPK positives, but they are getting fainter every day. Also, I'm charting and my BBT is uncharacteristically high for me. Today was the first day I got what seemed like a normal reading...I think my body is finally realizing I'm not pg anymore. I'm unsure if I should wait until after AF to try, or if we should NTNP in the mean time. It's hard to think that we could be wasting this precious time. Every cycle that goes by means that much longer until we could have a baby...maybe I'm just impatient!
Good luck to you.
