I always wondered why people got such extreme wait times when getting their BFPs…I had to share as this made total sense!

And then I found this article how girls produce more HCG in the beginning than boys which could produce earlier BFPs. I'd be so curious how true this is for everyone!

i got my bfp at 8 dpo. it was a surprise too! i also get to find out the gender this friday so in less than 48 hours woohoo! since my bfp, might be a girl? but the old wives tales and the chinese gender calendar say boy!

Update: sonographer said 90% chance baby is a girl(he said he saw no indication of a boy)!

Interesting discussion, I had the firmest of firm BFNs on a FRER at 11DPO and got a very faint positive at 20DPO and I'm definitely pregnant now, going on 7 weeks. I wonder if I'm having a boy.... hmmm
