I have been off birth control pill since October 2012 (we haven't been careful either, we class this as our NTNP period) but we have been TTC properly since March 2014. It's just not working, I started spotting today so expecting AF right on time as I get every month

So when would you suggest I speak to GP? What do I say/expect from them?

I think the general rule for under 35's is after 12 months with no conception to see GP. Sooner than that if over 35.

Under 35 is 12 months over 35 is six months or after multiple losses no matter the time spent trying (from what I hear usually if you have 2 or more within a six month period or 4+ in a 12 month period)

I would say go see one now. Not sure what a GP stands for where you are from (I assume not US) but here it is a general practice doc. They do not specialize in fertility here so we go to reproductive endocrinologists, which is who I would suggest you go see.

Now Carly :hugs:

Bee our gp's have to refer us to the specialist x

Thank you. I will see if I can get in on Monday.

What can they do?

They will probably run some basic blood tests, hormone ones so def 7dpo but maybe cd3 as well. Then it depends if anything shows on them or not, if not you will probably need a referral to the specialist x

Ok thank you, how are you doing?
