Hello all. I had a miscarriage in March, now just as of two days ago I found out i'm pregnant again. I want to wait a while before I go to the doctors because I'm super early. I just don't know if it's the right decision because of the miscarriage i did have. Maybe 7/8 weeks I'll go in. I decided not to tell anyone yet because it was such a disappointment last time so I need some advice please.

My nurse told me I just need to go in once during the first trimester. My pregnancy insurance doesn't start till after Aug 1 so I'm going in Aug 3, first day at my 11 week mark. I was needing to ease my worries and paid for a private scan at 7 weeks 1day. Baby was perfect.
I'm sorry for all that you have been through, mc sucks. I got pregnant with my daughter one month after a mc and shes perfect. Had a perfect son after her. Had a mc in January, then got pregnant with this one in June, this pregnancy is going perfect.

If you go see your doctor they may give you an early ultrasound (5-6weeks).. Sometimes this provides reassurance and other times if it's too early, it causes worry.
I'd say most drs like to see you at 7-8 weeks.

Congratulations on your pregnancy, I know it's not time to celebrate just yet, but you have a brand new pregnancy ahead of you, I wish you all the luck and happiness in your next 9months!!

My dr got me in right away but they didn't do anything but give me my EDD and scheduled me for my first scan at 7wks. There is really nothing they can do to prevent a MC in first tri so I wouldn't imagine there would be any reason to rush in. I would just call and let them know you are pregnant and see what they want to do if it was me.

I would wait b/c when you are expect what you may see at the scan and its not what you expected you will stress and worry. where if you wait until a littl ebit longer you have more of a chance to see more Good luck.
