Whens it going to stop!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi

Thought i'd come on here for a good moan' I had my miscarriage induced on 12th March and was told id bleed for about 2 weeks , well 2 weeks is slowly passing now and just when i thought it had stopped yesterday evening i find ive started again at lunchtime!! I really want to stop so can get the dreaded 1st cycle out the way!!!


Anyone else feeling this way or got any adviced plzzzzzz

Sorry to moan and sound silly just its worrying me and wondering if to go to doctors and see if theres been ne tissue etc left behind as they never said to come back for re scan to check ???

Hun, you're not being silly at all! I should think it will end any day, especially as you've gone a fair few hours with no bleeding, mine wasn't constant towards the end, like I said in my message nothing all day then started at night. It's so frustrating.
I would maybe go to the doctors if it hasn't stopped after the weekend, some people unfortunately do bleed longer than others but as you say sometimes there can be tissue etc left behind and even if only for your own piece of mind, would be worth getting checked. Hoping it stops real soon for you hun x

I bled for about 3 wks, did stop after about 16 days for a day then it came bk, i would go to the docs if worried as they may arrange a scan to check its all gone. Its peace of mind if anything.

Oh sweetie your not mad or nuts or anything else. Your worried because this doesn't seem right to you. After our MMC in November i was told I would bleed for 3-4weeks and not to expect Af until 6-8weeks.

I bleed for 3 weeks after the loss with the last week being off and on. Then after a week of no bleeding I got Af. So sorry you are going through this terrible time and hoping it starts to get somewhat better soon.

Hi Chella!

I think lots of us are in the same boat. It is incredibly frustrating when you just want to move on! I think if you bleed for more than 2 weeks you should ask for another scan to check for retained products. I had to have a second erpc 17 days after my first and I ended up with quite a nasty infection.

Hi hun. When I had my miscarriage, I had heavy bleeding the first day and then it was just like a very light period. Then 10 days later, I thought it had stopped completely but 3 days later, it started again and it was the heaviest I'd had since the first day of my miscarriage. And it was the day I went back to work so not sure if this had anything to do with it. I'm sure your body will sort itself out soon xxx

There must be light at the end of the tunnel i hope!!! I will see how it goes next week as it'll be week 3 then if no better i shall ring hospital and talk to them as they said to ring if ne worries; Dreading the thought if i have to go back in and actually have a d&c!!! but whatever is best for me i guess?
