I havent felt my LO move as much the past few days and its starting to scare me. I get sharp shooting pains and dull movements like maybe a shift in the LO's body every so often but no more kicks and noticable movements. Anyone else experience this?! Not sure if me has GD has anything to do with it but thought I would add that in!

Not sure about the GD it could be that baby is dropping really low ino the pelvis and therefore hasnt much room. If you are at all concerned I would get in touch with your labour and delivery suite and they can strap u to a monitor for an hour to check babys heart rate andmovements. Good luck xx

I actually just put up a post on friday b/c I didn't feel my LO moving. I went to dr and they told me he was in a travers (horizontal) position making it harder for me to feel his movements, and they hooked me up to a machine for 20 minutes to monitor his movements and heartbeat and he's fine. It may be the position your LO is in, but I needed peace of mind so I went to dr asap. Give yourself same peace of mind and contact health provider to make sure everything is good

He is head down I almost want to call or go in but dont want the Drs to be like shes just getting anxious and all that you know. Like I am overreacting.

Don't second guess yourself too much - if you are concerned with decreased movement, nothing wrong with getting checked out. On the other hand, if there IS something wrong, you would feel really bad if you didn't get checked! :hugs:

If you're 38 weeks honey there's not a lot of room in there for lo to move around.

Always better safe than sorry but they do refuse movement when they drop. Maybe you'll be a little early? But def call if u are concerned.

You need to decide BEFORE you call your doctor if your concern is just worry or something you really need to get checked out.

If you're sure your worry isn't going to go away when you call the doctor don't let her fob you off...seems like you've had 2 children from your tickers already too so tell her that its not like pregnancy is new to you and INSIST you want it looked at.

Sure it will be ok but the worry isnt worth it sometimes

Went in and got checked out. Heartrate was great but he is def ready to come out!! He is extremely low and I am at a 3 so we are just waiting around. Dr said decrease in movement could just be from no room and things getting ready! Blood Pressure and Sugar was great.... Dr said he hopes to see me soon so hoping on getting this little man out soon.
Never went into labor on my own with my other 2 so I am BEYOND excited!!!!

Yay for good news! I hope he makes his arrival soon... then he'll have alllll the room he needs to move!

They go very very quiet before labour, this may be why LO's not moving much ;)

I am literally just boucing on a ball waiting for something lol! I feel like such a dork doing this and trying to watch TV...my sweet husband and kids find it funny!
