Where do i claim my man points?

Yep thats right.. man points. been asking OH to screw the front room door back on (we had carpet laid weeks ago so had to remove the door) and various other things.

So i finally decided when he went out yet again today.. that id just do it myself!
took all of about 5 minutes really dont understand what the big effort was

either way i think i deserve some man points for that!

Well done! If I waited for my OH to do things for me I'd probably be waiting forever! Unless it involves computers I'm far more "handy" than he is around the house.

Haha! I'd been asking my DH for months to change the locks on the house because I'm almost positive his ex-wife got in one day (found the dog outside when I got home from work one day...weird) and he pussyfooted around for long enough that I just did it myself. Honestly, they act like we ask them to fly to the moon and bring us back a rock.

i definately agree! theres no dispute that women are the stronger sex. with pregnancy and child birth alone makes us stronger than they will ever be! but dealing with morning sickness, tiredness (extra because my daughter had me up most of the night last night) and juggling house work, cooking, cleaning, a 7 month old AND the jobs he never gets round to.. id say thats pretty impressive

Oh gosh the bullying and nagging it takes for OH to do ANY DIY in the house! I have given up long ago and just do it myself! Seriously though, now that we are having babies we need to make some changes in the spare room/future nursery which so far has been his study and a bit of a library. I am worried that either I will be obliged to lift all those heavy books or it will never get done!

Oh hell no. If he won't do it, I'd hire a mover then when he bitches about the cost put the smackdown on him and tell him it would have been much cheaper for him to do it one of the 18 times you asked him to.
