Where do I start?

Hi ladies

I suffered mc last week. I was 6 weeks exactly. I started bleeding on Saturday and am still bleeding. Me and OH are keen to start trying asap and apparently you are very fertile after mc. So should I count the first day of my bleed as CD1 and perhaps treat it as a delayed period?

Some advice would be appreciated.

So sorry for your loss.

My cycle pretty much followed the usual pattern when I had my mc last year, counting first day of bleeding as CD1 and mine ws also an early mc. I don't think it's is like this for everybody but if you feel ready, trying again wont do you any harm. Hope this helps. xx

hey...i am sorry for your loss....i know that this is a difficult time for you both.

I too wanted to try asap, so treated the first day of bleeding as the first of a new cycle........didn't work for me though, and obviously it depends on when you ovulate. I do know that the length that you were pregnant for determines when your next af is due.....i was 10 weeks pregnant and af took almost 7 weeks to reappear....

your right ur very fertile.. but it can take 12 weeks for a period 2 return. drs advise 1 period before you try again so they can determin dates if u do fall.

i was lucky my period came early.

I usually have a 28 day cycle and after my m/c my period returned early at CD23 if you count CD1 as the first day of bleeding.

Sorry to hear about your MC. I MC in May and didn't OV until 4 weeks later and first AF was 6 weeks later.
The hospital told me that although they recommend waiting for first AF so they can date it, they said that if i were to fall pregnant before first AF then it wouldn't be an issue.
As for being more fertile after MC I would have to say yes, just got my after one month of trying.

Sorry for your loss. I had an early MC in Feb and tried straight away. I ov'd a week later than usual. I am still trying unfortunately. xx

When my AF came, I bled really heavily and passed tissue and we realised there were retained products. If I mc again (heaven forbid) then I will always wait until after next AF, just to ensure we dont risk infection and that there is nothing retained.
