...to find a partner?? Although I'm not looking for someone to settle down with just yet but when I do where will I find one? I'm not in any sort of clubs/societies and I don't think I would find my soul mate while out in bars and clubs in town. I don't really go anywhere else!

I met my new partner threw work, we've worked together for 2 years. I'm not really sure, but you can sometimes grab a good catch whilst in clubs! Only sometimes I guess. Weddings or parties? Sometimes a good place. Other than that i'm really not sure!

I swear by the internet to I met mine through a o2 chat service called speed dating and 3 years later we have our own place we got married in aug and we our expecting our first child.

I think if u do go the internet route u still have 2 be careful there are loads of nice guys on there but like everywhere there are some weird ones xx

I met my hopefully OH to-be, (again, lol) at "work". We were treeplanting together. There's nothing like meeting someone when they're at their absolute worst - beat up, muddy, smelly, bug bitten and generally ill tempered. You know if you can like them like that - nothing could possibly turn you off!

my mum does the whole dating thing i think she goes on a site called girlsdateforfree... no idea tho i knew my OH from beeing 14 but we met again in a club so i say clubs are the best place! ...give internet dating a try tho i would if i was single it seems like fun!

I would say internet dating, it may have a bit of a bad rep but you're just as likely to meet a weirdo out and about as you are online. Just make sure you're happy and comfortable before you even consider meeting as Carolyn said have a list of questions they need to pass first. Hope you find what you're looking, I'm in the same boat so if I find a good source of men I'll let you know lol
