where to buy clomid with private prescription

i have a private prescription for clomiphene (clomid100mg) for 3 cycles.

i called tesco and asda, they both said they only have 50mg tablets and it will cost £60...

does anyone know where i can buy it from cheaper?

Didn't want to read and run hun...have you tried going into a pharmacy and asking them to order the prescription for you?

I did the same with asda - just took 2x50mg tablets which is fine.

Asda was the cheapest at around £8 per month - they actually sell them below cost, at a normal chemist it will cost you about £15 per month.

in the end i bought from a independent chemist and it was £14 for 3 cycles worth....

Did u get subscribed clorid from your doctor or are you just taking it privately and buying it from chemist as you no your dont ovulate ?

Two of my friends decided in January that they would start TTC and got it from this site. She decided that she wanted more chances of ovulating and took 100mg days 1-5 on her next cycle and fell pregnant. She never saw a doctor though before or after she used it (except for pregnancy related things) which wasn't good

I would never recommend buying it in unless instructed to though.

Thankfully in Northern Ireland you don't pay for prescriptions so I couldn't tell you if it's good value or not.

I just went to sainsbury's and I think mine was about £15 for 6 months!

Take 2 times 50mg... thats what my gyno told me to do cause im meant to be on 100mg

I got mine from the hospital pharmacy. As it was NHS it was £7.40 for the 3 months worth. The private hospital DH attends charges whatever the drugs cost so I asked them and they said it would be around £20 for 3mths at 50mg.

actually this week i got 6 months worth, 100mg for £20.33 at tesco pharmacy.
