Hi..

I am looking into bottles already and i'm wondering which ones you all think are best .

I had Avent ones with my son and i found that all they did was leak.. Not cool :nope:.

I have added a multiple choice poll (for those who have more than one favourite for various reasons - which i'd love to hear) of some bottles that i can get in Babies R Us or TJ's Kids.. But if anyone has other suggestions then i'm open to those as well .

Thanks
:flower:

We went for Dr. Browns at 12 weeks as Omar is suffering from reflux & they really made a difference. We tried TT CTN (always had problems with sucking as the valves used to always get blocked), Avent (he didnt like them), & pegeon for a short period. xx

Dr Browns, my LO has been on them since he was 4 weeks old and i still use them now. I don't intend to stop until he doesn't use bottles any more.

the ones that I think are are really good are dr browns, bornfree, nuby and MAM :flower:

If LO has no problems, my faves are Tommee Tippee CTN - they don't leak and can take 9oz.

If LO has problems with wind/colic Dr Browns are the best. But they leak and only take 8oz, so not perfect!

I like TT ctn anti colic, no leaking, I have a cupboard full of bottles, 4 dr browns (all of them leak) and 2 playtex easivent, I think the problem with these was that my LO didn't like the teat shape, she much prefers TT. xxx

Tommee Tippee closer to nature, not many I have seen that resemble a boobie so well, we used to combination feed in the early days and my MW warned me not to use any bottles at all and use a cup, but LO had no problem interchanging between breast and teat :)

with TT you can also get interchangeable accesories later on, like handles when they get to 6 months and can hold their own bottle, and sippy spouts.

We used Nuk or Gerber's with Nuk nipples until we were encouraged by our daughter's G.I and feeding therapist to switch to Dr. Browns - which she still drinks from exclusively. Gives her the most control and minimizes aspiration, choking etc.

tt if no problems or combi feeding. NUK if prem or having trouble feeding. Dr browns (i havnt used these myself) for problems with wind. The tt bottles, you need to pinch the valve when you first use the teats to open it x
