I am currently using the avent anti colic bottles with my 16 day old daughter (:

However, when she's sucking there's alot of air bubbles and she ends up with alot of wind and colic like symptoms.

So I was considering changing bottles as she's taking in alot of air.

What bottles are best? :flow: xx

What formula are you on? I have noticed that C&G produces more bubbles. My LO uses Avent and hasn't ever had a problem since we switched from Aptamil. I have heard really good things about Dr Brown bottles. Have you tried colief etc.?

I find the tommee tippee ctn bottles work the best for us. I tried the dr brown bottles but she hated them and they have sat in the cupboard since!

We use MAM, you can actually hear the air getting released. We have the self sterilisig ones and i am so chuffed we dont need to use the steraliser anymore!

I use C&G with her, dya think it's worth changing to aptamil?
And I use infacol with her but it's not made much difference tbh.

Thankyou all (: I like the sound of self sterilising bottles lol and I may try tommee tippee then, cheaper to try then dr browns lol :flow: xx

We also have the MAM bottles and I love the fact we can go anywhere and all we need is a kettle, formula and a microwave to sterilise. X

I use tommee tippee bottles can hear the air coming out of them too :) x

Oh so is it normal then? I thought it may just be avent, and thats what's making her wind worse? (: :flow: xx

We tried, TT, TT anticolic, Avent, Avent Anti colic, Mam but eventually settled on NUK. At 10mths we switched to Dr Browns because LO kept waking up with gas pains. It worked instantly:thumbup:

Ooh okay thankyou (: you've tried nearly every brand, I'm glad you finally got one that works well :flow: xx

Ive used Avent, MAM and Dr browns. Dr Brown's are the best by far. There is no air what so ever in LO's milk when i used them. You can hear the air coming out of the MAM ones but when you take it of of LO's mouth bubble still form so theres obviously air still left in there. Avent are the same. All good bottles but Dr Brown's win from my experience. I used them for my LO for gas and reflux and they worked a treat.

Thankyou:) it's good to hear from someone whos tried them all. I may give dr browns a try then (: :flow: xx

i used avent which really disagreed with jake.
i ended up using tommee tippee anti colic bottles (the ones with all the parts!)
when he got to about 6 months i moved onto regular TT bottles.

TT were ruddy awful for us. Doctor Brown's all the way here! x

Another vote for Dr browns! Amazing they are worth the money! Buy just one first try it out then if they work awesome!

Definately buying one now :p
They sound great! I hope they work as well for me too (: :flow: xx

Yup dr brown here too.

I used TT, avent, mam and then dr Brown. I wish i had found out about them sooner and i wouldn't have wasted so much money on TT bottles and equipment.

Thankyou(:
I bought some dr browns in the weekend, and so far I've found them so much better!
Thanks for the advice everyone:flow: xx
