My HV has suggested trying a comfort formula.
Ava is currently on SMA, I heard Cow & Gate comfort is pretty good.
Is there any other good ones out there?

if SMA do one then id try and stick to the same brand. Im on cow and gate, it is good x

We switched from SMA to Cow & Gate Comfort because if SMA does a comfort formula we couldn't find it. The switch the comfort has been the best thing ever, he is so much happier.

We used cow and gate, and got on well with it. Aptamil do an easy digest version which is the same kind of thing, but to be honest it's more expensive and as far as general opinion goes, isn't any better!

The only one I know of SMA doing is staydown, which is anti-reflux. It depends what the reason for switching is as to whether it's suitable. As you're on SMA, I'm guessing constipation, so one of the others is probably better.

Not for constipation, she is throing up every single feed & struggles awfully to bring wind up.
HV said it doesn't matter which one we choose, as long as it is a comfort plus formula?
Would seem like it's between Aptamil & C&G.
x

if its for reflux/throwing up feeds, id try SMA staydown first. Watch out for constipation tho. Then if that makes him constipated id switch to a comfort milk, probs cow and gate, its basically the same as the aptamil one just slighty cheaper. If you switch to comfort and your baby isnt constipated the poo is explosive! And stink! Good luck xxx

Yeah i have to say Aliyahs poos..omg explosive or what ,stink or what:haha:
but she is so much more happy on it..she wasnt badly constipated before but would struggle so much,go red in the face and scream when she would try to take a poo but now one big bang and its all out lol x

If you decide to go for Apitimal then I have an unopened Comfort formula one, which i am considering throwing away, but if you want it then all i want is P&P paid for £4

I used Aptamil Comfort, managed to get Jake onto stage 1 now though :)
