Which of these names do you prefer?

I like all of them but some of the reactions from my family have been completely conflicting.

Please be honest!! :) I won't be offended
xx

Tabitha - Beautiful, classy, timeless and unusual... love it and I think its in a different league to the other 2 name

Willow - is a fad-ish name, not a horrible name (cute if you want to honer some called william but are having a girl etc...) but I know quite a few all under 2 and I think it will become very dated from how quickly it appeared and how it starting to die off a bit

Scarlet/Scerlett/Scarlette/Skarlet and a million other spellings - the most common name I know, I can throw a rock into any group of friends and hit one with a kid called Scarlet, its the 'safe' im being 'different' name so everyone that wants to avoid 'common' names like Olivia or Isabelle use it and ironically then end up with their being dozens of them and now just truely seems uninspired as there are so many nice unique names (like tabitha :winkwink:) that you could use

although that might just be where I live (north UK... ive moved around a lot from northern england to scotland and its been common everywhere ive been) maybe in america or europe etc... it might not be so common

I think the 3 most common names I know are Scarlet, Willow and Lily

Thank you! To be honest I'm in love with Tabitha, but hubby wants to make sure I consider other names so I'm not just fixated on one. But I keep coming back to Tabitha.

Out of your 3 Tabitha is most appealing, I'm just not a fan of Tabby (if you're planning on using a nn. It just reminds me of a name you'd call a cat) sorry. I think I'm biased bc I knew someone with a catotal by that bane so it's automatically what I envision.

Scarlet is pretty too but so so common these days.

In the end it only matters what YOU love!

I like Willow and Scarlett. I've never met a kid with either name so popularity must depend on location. I'd probably pick Scarlett personally.

I want to like Tabitha but it just doesn't do anything for me.

Scarlett.
But I'm biased, that's the name we have picked out if ours is a girl. :)

I really like Willow, we came close to using it for DD2.

I looooove Tabitha, I want it for a girl but DH hates it, boo :(

I like Tabitha more than Scarlett and Willow. I think it's elegant.

Not a fan of Scarlett, I just find it a 'harsh' sounding name to be honest. And Willow seems to be everywhere at the moment which puts me off.

be curious to know where OP is from as the popularity of these names seems very country based by the answers

Tabitha has always been in the same category for me as names like Edith, Thelma, Edna, Gertrude... I have no idea why. I think Willow is a pretty, although trendy name. Scarlett sounds like a stripper name to me.
