They're both really pretty names. In terms of which name gives off a "nice" vibe, I'd say Layla. Scarlett sounds more vivacious and Layla sounds sweeter.

I had a friend when I was a kid named Layla, so that's definitely preferred of the two for me.

I like the name Scarlett, it's very pretty. I don't like the name Layla to be honest, I know many ladies called it and I just can't bring myself to like it unfortunately.

I really like both Layla and Scarlett but i would say i like Layla slightly more and i see that's the name you decided to go with
