Okay, we had a poll to help us decide which name we liked and we have now decided on Cori as it suits our surname and fits in well with my 2 sons names (this baby is a girl but i want something a bit different!) Which spelling do you think is best? Cori, Cory,Corey, Kori, Kory, Korey or any other spelling suggestions?

( i know most people associate corey with being a boys name but if you google cori it says its a girls name! Plus me and one of my sons both have names which could be a boy or a girl)

Had a Cory and a Corey in my class last year, both boys admittedly! Always like the Corey sp. better!

Corey was on our list, I dunno why but i like Kori with a K for a girl and Corey with a C for a boy.

Ohhh this is a toughy hun , I've always associated this name to be boys i've never heard this as a girls name. I've heard of cori ...but pronounced " corry" short for corinne .

but honestly choosing from the ones you give i'd prob go Kori .

Yep, for some reason, I see the K as more of a girls spelling - so voted Kori :) x

my names corrin but everyone calls me cori (coh-ree) I love it :o)

I voted Corey but that was before I realised it was for a girl. For a girl I would have Cori or Kori to try and make it more feminine, Corey is very masculine to me

for a girl first choice would be Cori then Kori just seems more girly to me :) all the Corey corys I know are boys...

I think to make it clear that it is a female name that Kori is the best spelling. It's not strange or hard to figure out either. I have a friend that spells her name Kori.

I went to school with a girl named Korie... maybe that is an option?!

I think of it as being spelt Corey but for a girl I'd slightly change it to Korey. Its a really nice name.

I think if I saw it written down as Kori I'd pronounce it Corrie but I'm asuming the pronunciation is Core-y the same as in Corey Feldman's name?
